Coconut Cove -Taylored Expressions

Hi Chickies!  Happy Saturday!  Here is a card I made a few days ago using a new stamp set called Coconut Cove by Taylored Expressions.  I love this set!  It has such a vacation time feel to it.

I stamped the palm trees multiple times and cut them out so that the palm tree branches have some dimension.  I also added a few rhinestone coconuts.

The DSP is October Afternoon's Thriftshop and I used Kraft and Early Espresso for matting.

Not sure if you can see it but the door, windows and waves have Star Dust Stickles for shine.  The clouds were with my Lil Inker Cloud dies and the waves were a Fiskars punch.  The card was of course colored with copics.

Hope you enjoyed!

Cupcake Thief - Mo Manning

Ok, last card to be posted for today!  This one is for my daughters 15 th birthday this Saturday.  I used a Mo Manning image called Cupcake Thief and colored it with my copics.  I cut out the image and popped it up with an Action Wobble.  It moves back and forth!  Too cute!

Again, I will add the DSP later... I just can't remember the name...  Got it!  Bo Bunny Ambrosia Collection.  Beautiful papers!

I added some lace and twine and a button.  Oh yeah, let's not forget the shiny stickles!

Have a good rest of your day,

Natasha

Felicity and Blair - Stamping Bella

Hi again!  I have another card to share with you all - this time I am using some Stamping Bella goodies!  I just love the Uptown Girl images from Stamping Bella, this one is called Felicity and Blair Living Life.

I stamped it with Memento ink on Neenah paper and colored it with my copics.  I don't remember the DSP... but it is one that I have had in my paper stash for a while.  I am a paper hoarder....

Hope you enjoy!

Ragged Romeo - Mo Manning

Morning ladies!

Today I have a card to share that I made using Ragged Romeo from Mo Manning.  I printed the image on Neenah paper and colored with my copics.

Practically all my edges were distressed using the Tim Holtz distress tool. I used a paper pad in my stash - but I forgot the name! I will look it up when I get home.  The name of the DSP is Dear Lizzy Neapolitan, nice soft colors in this paper pad.

I added some diamond Stickles and used two different kinds of ribbon.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Silhouette Card

Hey there!  My wonderful co-workers bought me a Silhouette SD last year form my birthday.  I work with the greatest group of ladies!  :)

I have not played with it alot because I thought it was intimidating....  But I took it out this weekend and actually made this card with it!  I love it!!!  It was very easy to use (after I watched a few videos last night.  This card was not my idea, and I can't find the wonderful lady who inspired me with her video!  I will continue to look and add that to this post when I find her!).

All of the images, the palm trees, the swim trunks and the bathing suit were cut with the Silhouette.  I tore a few sheets of craft and sponged with Tea Dye distress ink for the sand and I sponged the sky with Broken China.

Thanks for viewing!

Silly Scape - Hero Arts

Hiya ladies, here are another few cards that I made using the Silly Scape stamp from Hero Arts.  I've had the stamp for a while, but never inked it up.

I stamped the image on Neenah paper and colored with my copics.  I added stickles to the windows and doors of a few of the buildings.  The hot air balloon is from PTI and the clouds are my Fiskars cloud punches.  I colored the ribbon with my copics so that the color matched perfectly!  The sentiment is computer generated and I die cut it with my Big Shot and the PTI banner die.

Here is the same image done exactly as above except I used a different copic color combo on the buildings.  I also shaded the clouds and the banner with my copics.

Hope you enjoy!

Wryn Fishing - Tiddly Inks

Howdy!  Back with another card.

This time is used a Tiddly Inks image called Wryn - Fishing.  I printed it on Neenah paper and colored her with my copics.  I cut her out for this card.

I used some papers from My Minds Eye - Lime Twist paper pad.  Just some ahppy summer colors in there!  I used a few PTI cloud die cuts and few different punches for the grass, the waves, the flowers, and butterflies.

I stitched the panels and used liquid pearls in the flowers and some stickes on the butterflies and the fish and on the band on her hat.

The sentiment that I used is from Scrappy Moms.  I am going to enter this in the challenge below:

Hi again!  I told you I had a few cards to share tonight!!

My second card is made using a digital stamp from Saturatred Canary called Ava.  It is just an sweet image!  Krista had it up for free a few weeks ago, not sure if it's still up there.

I printed the image on Neenah paper and colored it with my copics.  I used DSP called The All About Girls Stack from DCWV.  Just some beautiful colors in this stack!

I distressed most of the edges of the card and shaded the edge of the maing image and the notebook sheet with Antique Linen and Tea Die distress inks.

I used some crocheted ribbon from Hero Arts and several punches.  The sentiment is from PTI.  Not sure of you can see it or not, but she has some glitter on parts of her utfit and her eyes and the balloon have glossy accents on them.

Summer Baby - Mo Manning

Hi chicas!  Today I made a few cards, one of them was for a co-worker that is having a birthday party for her cousins little boy.  She asked me to make her a card that was sort of like Hawaii...  well I couldn't find a little boy stamp that had a Hawaii theme but, I did find this adorable little boy in a swimming pool!

He is a digital stamp from Mo Manning called Summer Baby.  I printed the image on Neenah paper and colored it with copics.  I used Lime Twist DSP for my color inspiration.  Very summer-y.  :)

All of the pannels are stitched and matted the entire thing onto craft cardstock.  The sentiment is from Papertey Ink.

Thanks for stopping by!

Flippin Out - Papertrey Ink

Last post for the night!

I made two cards using a cute stamp and die set from Papertrey Ink called Flipping out.  These cards were totally the brillant ideas of PTI's design team.  I just cased them for my own pleasure because I loved them so much!

I used some bling that I colored with my copics to match the flip flops and a wave punch for the waves on the bottom of the card.  I shaded the sides with Antique Linen and Tea Dye distress inks and I used come Tumbled Glass on the waves.  I' don't know if you can see it in this picture but the waves have glitter on the little crests.  I used SU inks for the flip flops.

On this card I used a Hero Arts woodgrain punch on Very Vanilla to make the wood dock.  I then cut out all the "planks" and used Tea Dye distress inks for the edges.  For the "water" I embossed the Hero Arts Swirl stamp with clear embossing powder and went over the whole thing with Broken China distress ink.  Again the flip flop and the flower were stamped using SU inks.

I hope you have a great evening.

Nurse - Mo Manning

Hi Ladies -

Today I have a card that uses an image from Mo Manning called Nurse.  I have actually created two cards with this image.  One was for a friend who wanted a nurse themed birthday card and the other is a get well card.

This first card is the birthday card.  I stamped the image on Neenah paper and used some October Afternoon Thrift Shop papers.  I added some glitter and glossy accents for interest.

This next card is the get well Nurse card.  Again the image was printed on Neenah paper and I colored both images with my copics.  This one has stickles on the teddy bears shirt and the needle and stethoscope.  I used paper from My Minds Eye Hattie papers.  I added a few buttons and twine along with a sentiment from Scrappy Moms.

I am going to enter this second card into the challenge below:

I hope you enjoyed!
