My Favorite Things - It's a Mice Time to Celebrate

Hi -

Happy Friday!  Today I have the cutest card to share using the MFT It's a Mice Time to Celebrate stamp set.  I have made a few cards with this set and I love it so much!

I made this card over the Memorial Day holiday weekend and I am just now sharing it on my blog.  A little late.  :)  Any way I used the coordinating dies the new Fishtail Flag Trio dies, and the Stitched Rectangle Frame dies to make this card.  I colored the little images with my Zig Kuratake Clean Color markers using the "no line" technique.  I think it came out beautifully!

Honey Bee Stamps - Spring Chicks

Hi there!

Thank you for stopping by!  I have made a couple of cards over the Memorial Day weekend and I have not had the chance to post them on my blog!

This card below is using the new Honey Bee stamp called Spring Chicks!  It is so much fun!  I also purchased the Eggcelent Sentiments stamp set because they pair perfectly together!

I tried to use all the stamps in the set LOL!  I colored these up using the "no line" technique and my Zig Kuratake Real Color Brushes.  Still getting used to it - but I think it came out well for a first try!

My Favorite Things - Piggy Pebbles

Happy Monday Craft Peeps!

Today I have a card that I made for my dear friend Marisa!  It's her birthday and she loves pigs!  This set is adorable and I had to use it for her card.

I used the Wonky Circle Die from MFT and I fussy cut the little piggies.  I water colored them with my Zig Kuretake water color brush pens.  I used the MFT Grassy Edges and Cloud Border Stencils to add some interest to the background.  The little flower and flowerpot have some Shimmer with the Nuvo Shimmer pen.  LOVE how this card came out!

I am going to enter this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.  I haven't done one of these in ages!

Mother's Day - Lifestyle Crafts

Hey! I have a card that I forgot to share on Mother's Day!  I made this for my mom and I love how it turned out!

It is a shaker card that has balloons in it that say Happy Mother's Day!  <3  Love it!  I die cut all of the balloon letters from a die set from Lifestyle Crafts.  I don't know if this die set is still around but I am so glad that I snatched it up when I could!  I tied all of the balloons with string and taped it to the back panel.  I then used an MFT shaker window and rectangle frame die to make the shaker window - easy peasy!

Here's a picture of me and my mom the day before Mother's Day!  Love her to pieces!

Marianne Designs - Plant Ladder & Plants

Good Morning -

Happy Hump Day!  Today I am sharing a card I made using the Marianne Designs Plant Ladder and Plants Dies.  I can't tell you how much I love this set of dies!  Your combinations are endless.

I die cut all of the images and colored up the vases with copic markers.  I cut the plants from different colored card stock that I had in my stash. It was a little time consuming as die cutting can be - but so worth the effort!  I used some distress inks on the leaves to add some depth.  I finished it off by using my white gel pen to add some details to the leaves and vases.

I hope you enjoyed!  Please follow me on Instagram to see me cards: @inktimesomewhere

Simon Says Stamp - Coffee Time

Hi!

I have a card I made for my daughters trainer at her college.  He loves coffee and she said he makes his own!  I thought the Coffee Time set from SSS would be perfect!

I stamped the images with Stazon Ink on Bristol smooth card stock because I was going to water color the images with my Zig Kuratake Water Color Pens.  I love how they turned out.  I don't have the dies for this set so I fussy cut the stamped images out after I water colored them.

Here is a picture of the inside.  I used the My Favorite Things Distressed Patterns stamp for the coffee splotches that I put around the inside.

I hope you liked the card!  You can follow me on Instagram @ inktimesomewhere .
