Uptown Girl Sandy and Her Sombrero - Stamping Bella (TPE231)

Happy Monday!

We have a two week "Anything Goes" Challenge over at The Pink Elephant.

I used a new stamp from Stamping Bella called Uptown Girl Sandy and her Sombrero for my card.  I'm kind of all Christmas carded out - LOL.  I want the warm weather back!

I used some Ocober Afternoon Thrift Shop paper that I have had forever - but still love.  She is colored in copics and I stamped the image in Memento ink.

You can see the glimmer of Wink of Stella on her glasses and her drink glass.

I added some twine and a little bow to finish off my card.

Please join us for this fun challenge over at TPE!

It's getting close to Christmas!  I am so not ready yet!  Time to get it into gear!  :)

The time we have a month long challenge over at Songbird Challenges.  Our theme is "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".  Alot of fun with Kenny K's digi stamps ;).

I used a stamp called Toy Soldier.  She was alot of fun to color.  This image reminds me of the "Little Drummer Boy".  One of my childhood favorite songs.

I used Pro Markers for her skin and Copics for everything else.  The paper is from My Minds Eye, Lost & Found Christmas.  I hand dyed some seam binding and added a wooden button to that fun bow.

You can see the Wink of Stella pen in this picture.  :)

Anna Belle Birthday Wishes - Tiddly Inks

Happy Monday!  I have a birthday card to share with you.  It's for my youngest daughter Ravena who just turned 14 (in November-I'm late :(  ).

She is a wonderful teenager - wow!  :)

I used Anna Belle Birthday Wishes stamp by Tiddly Inks.  Here is a picture of the card.  I made a pocket with a tag.  My daughter loves glitter so I glittered up the main image for her.  I added the La La Land Heart Banner and put some glittered paper behind the little hearts.

Here is the tag removed from the pocket.  The little sentiment flag is from Lil Inker.

Here is the glittered up tag.  I colored it up with copics.

I added lace trim around the pocket and a little KI cupcake.  See the glittered enamel dots and the rhinestones on the banner?  Love it!

The patterned paper is from My Minds Eye, Hootenanny pad.

Have a great day!

Funny Face - Redonkadoodles (TPE229)

Happy Monday Mernin! (Pronounced mer-ning ;)) Today over at the Pink Elephant Challenge blog we have a Recipe for you to follow you need to use 2 Pattern Papers, Ribbon, & Sprinkle of Sparkle!

I have one of my new favorite images to share with you all today - she is called Funny Face from Redonkadoodles.  This is a great image and it can be used for so many different types of cards.

I did a "wonky angled" card.  I kind of like it...  A little change from my standard OCD straight up and down - LOL.  I used two different paper pads, one is Merry Little Christmas from My Minds Eye.  The pink glitter paper is from DCWV Glitzy Pastels paper pad.

I colored her with Pro Markers and Copics.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Winter Wishes set.  As you can see I added some sparkle with the glitter paper and some sequins.  The ribbon is from my vast stash.  ;)

Minnie's Christmas Lights - Tiddly Inks

Happy Sunday!  I used an image I just purchased from Tiddly Inks a few days ago called Minnie's Christmas Lights.  She is so funny!

I used so much fun stuff on this card!  Let's see, I used a paper pad from My Minds Eye called Lost & Found Christmas.  The sentiment banner is is a decorative brad from the same MME collection.  I used a few different dies on this card.  The string of lights is from YNS - Light Up the Holidays.  I stamped it then die cut it, colored with copics and covered with glossy accents.  The fence die is from MFT.  I die cut the main image with a Spellbinders die.  The little frame around Minnie is the left over die cut. I just cut it down and ran it through my big shot in a wood grain embossing folder.

Here is a close up of Minne.  She's colored with copics.  Her glasses and  the lights that are tangled up around her have glossy accents on them.  The fence was inked up using Tea Dye and Antique Linen distress inks. I used some liquid applique and distress stickles on the fence.  The little string of lights on the fence is from Jolee's.

I am going to enter this card in these challenges:  Tiddly Inks, Deep Ocean Challenge, and The Ribbon Girl.

Thanks for stopping by!

Joy Banner Card

Hi ladies, tonight I have a card to share that I made for fun.  :)  I went to Michael's today and bought some moulding paste, a few stencils, and some Heidi Swapp Color Shine sprays.  Then I hustled home and made this lovely non-traditional Christmas card!

First of all I have to say I love molding paste!  It was so easy to use a stencil and create this chevron background.  You have to let it dry completely then I sprayed it with the teal and tinsel color shine sprays.  LOVE!!!!  It is so shimmery and gorgeous in real life!

I used a doily that I purchased from Michael's and added lots of little hand cut flags.  I used the scraps from my Merry Little Christmas paper pad.  :)

I added some white seam binding tied in a bow and lots of rhinestones and a few enamel dots.  The sentiment is a Heidi Swapp sticker.    I am going to enter this card in the challenges below:

Hot Cocoa Marci - La La Land Guest Designer!

I hope your having a wonderful Friday!  I have some great news to share with you today - I was asked to be a guest designer over at La La Land Crafts!!  Here is my first card using Hot Cocoa Marci.  The challenge over at La La Land is to use Brown, Blue, and White on your project.

I love the tight little waves on her hair!  She is adorable!  I used a Studio Calico paper pad called Memoir for this card.  I stitched around the edges of the main image and around the base.  I cut a doily in half and popped it on top of the patterned paper.  I have used two dies from La La Land on this card, Creepy Vines (which I airbrushed with my Copics) and the Heart Banner Die.  I die cut that one twice and popped it up on some dimensionals to off set it some what.

This image is colored with Copics, I have listed the colors I used below:

Copics:
Hair - E29, E25, E23, E21
Skin - E53, E51, E50, E93
Skirt (Browns) - E43, E42, E40, E40
Scarf - (Blues) - B24, B23, B21
Shoes - E35, E34, E33

I added some trim from my stash and a few roses.  Please pop over to the La La Land blog to see what the design team has created!

Gingerbread House - Jane's Doodles

Hi chickies, I made a Christmas card using Jane's Doodles Gingerbread House Digital Stamp

I used a paper pad from Teresa Collins called Memories.  I covered it with vellum to "soften" the look.  I added some lace trim and popped up the little house on dimensionals.

I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with Gamsol.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's.  I embossed it with white embossing powder.

I added lots of glitter and a few rhinesones.  I finished the card off by stitcking around the edges.  It sort of moved the trim... But it still looks pretty!

You can find the little Gingerbread House here at Jane's Shop!

Thanks,

CAS - Christmas Card

Hi ladies, tonight I have one of the hardest types of cards to make (at least for me) - the CAS card!  LOL - I am so tempted to add sequins, and ribbon, and layers, and die cuts, and bling....

Well I held back!  This is about as clean and simple as I can get!  :)

I used a white base made of Neenah card stock and a layer of burlap paper.  Have you tried this stuff?  It is great - it's burlap held together with some type of backing paper.  Its wonderful!

I used the Merry Little Christmas paper pad by MME for the piece with the ornaments on it.  I hand cut the little tag from the burlap and stamped the number 25 using a Hero Arts stamp set called Fanciful Swirl Alphabet.  I added a little twine behind a button to finish it off.

I am entering this card in the Freshly Made Sketches #115 Challenge.

Tree Topper - Saturated Canary (TPE228)

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!  We had family come over and it was wonderful! Lots of good food and games.  :)

http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/

Today over at the Pink Elephant Blog we have a "Winter Theme" challenge.  I made a card using an image from Saturated Canary that I purchased a few weeks ago called Tree Topper.

I used non-traditional colors for the card - so I had to make up the background.  I cut various sized strips of Bazzil card stock and created the striped background.  I like how it turned out.

I colored her with Pro Markers and my new set of Spectrum Noir markers.  :)  I love how vibrant the Spectrum markers are.  :)

I added a bow and a few jingle bells to complete the look.

On the little ornaments I added glossy accents and there is a lot of glitter all over for the snow.  :)

Please pop over to the Pink Elephant and join us in this weeks Winter Themed Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!
