Hugs and Kisses - Saturated Canary

Okay, last post for the evening!

Krista that SWEET lady has just given a cute freebie for Valentines day on her blog!  Go check it out if you haven't already!  She is called Hugs and Kisses and she is so darn cute!

I used some MME Market patterned paper for this card.  I love my Spica glitter pen so I have used it ALOT!  I added several flowers from Prima and Maya Road.  I tied a double loop with my bow easy.  Can you see the cute little doily I added back there?

Not my ususal card but I love how romantic it looks!

I am entering this card in the challenge below:

Have a great night!

2 Cute Birthday Owl - Lil Inker

Hey there, I hope you all had a great weekend.

I have a few cards to share with you that I made using a stamp set that I just purchased from Lil Inker called 2 Cute Birthday Owl.

The cards I made use patterned paper from Lime Twist's Life of the Party paper pad.

I colored the image with copics and added some Clear Atyou Spica pen to the balloons and the hat.  I coated the balloon in all my cards with sparkley pen and glossy accents.

Both of the buttons are from my stash.  I used Tumbled Glass distress ink for the clouds.

Here is a cute little tag that matches either of the cards above.

Hope you enjoyed!

Princess Rose Red - Saturated Canary

Hi ladies-

Tonight I have a card to share that I made using a Saturated Canary image.  My daughter saw her and said she looks like Belle in Beauty and the Beast.  :)

I printed the image on Neenah cardstock and colored it with my copics.  I added some Crystal Stickles around the image for sparkle.  I used my Fishtail MFT dies and my cirlce and scalloped circle Spellbinders dies.  The patterned paper is October Afternoon scraps from my stash.

I am submitting this card in the following challenges:

Enjoy!

I colored the image with my copics and added some Diamond Stickles to the balloon and other areas of her outfit.  I used The All About Girls Stack paper pad from DCWV.  The sentiment is from SU - a set called Petite Pairs.

Copic Certification Class

Hey there!  Long time no post - at least it feels that way to me.

I went to the Copic Certification Class and Copic Workshop in Anaheim last week.  Let me tell you that was alot of information/techniques/projects to take in!  Whew!  The great part was that I got to meet all six of the copic instructors!!!!  Lori Craig taught the Copic Standard Certification class.  Alot of the info I already knew but I did learn a few things about the Copic Color wheel.

Here is a picture of Lori and I after the class:

On day one of the two day Copic Workshop Colleen Schaan and Debbie Olson taught that class.  I did not take a picture of Colleen but I did take one with Debbie the day before.  She is honestly the sweetest lady you will ever meet:

On the final day of the workshop Sherrie Siemens and Cindy Lawrence taught us a bunch of fun techniques with reinkers and blending solution.  Here is a picture of me with them Cindy and Sherrie:

I forgot to mention that Marianne Walker came into our copic workshop (day one) and colored an image for us.  Let me tell you she used like 14 colors on the face including blue and green AND she did practically no blending!!! OMG!!!  Talk about impressive.

Well I am now certified...  I just have to practive my butt off to be half as good as these ladies. :)  One more thing, I am not a short woman, I am 5'7" tall - ALL of these ladies were taller than me!  I actually felt short once in my life!  LOL

Thanks for reading!
