Thinking of You - Cali Girl

Hi!  I hope you had a fun filled Saturday.  I know I did, my youngest daughter had a volleyball tournament and they won every game!  Woo hoo!!

Well I came home and decided to finish up another Saturated Canary image that I colored a few days ago.  I picked the Cali Girl image that Krista was kind enough to give to me!  She is AWESOME!!  I adore her images - she is a very talented lady.

Here is my card:

I printed Cali Girl on Copic Express paper and colored her with Copics.  I used paper from My Minds Eye called Lime Twist.  The 6 by 6 pad has so many wonderful patterns.  Very beachy!  I stitched the edges and added some ribbon from Martha Stewart.  I used a sentiment from PTI and punched it with my circle punches.  I added ALOT of sparke to her bathing suit and jewelry with dazzling diamonds from SU and some shine to her eyes and her glasses with cyrstal effect.  Too bad you really can't see it in the picture.... :(   Lastly I added some aqua rhinestones.

I am going to enter this card into the Saturated Canary Challenge #14 Thinking of You and the Young Crafters Unite Challenge # 8 Stitching and Sewing.

Happy Friday!

Hi Chicas!  Today is the perfect day to share this rainy day card.  While it is not actually raining it is VERY gloomy outside. The stamp that I used is called My Umbrella by MFT.  I stamped her on Neenah paper and colored her with copics and prisma colored pencils.  I embossed some white cardstock and punched out some clouds.  I think the clouds were from a Fiskars punch not a die....  I added some Diamond Stickles to  the clouds and rain drops for some glitter.  :)  The entire image was mounted on some black cardstock from SU and then placed on a Kraft base.  I used some twine for a little bow.

I hope you enjoyed!

Have a wonderful day!

MFT - Lather, Rinse, Repeat

Hi Chicas!  I hope you are have a wonderful day!  :)  Today I have a card that I made using the My Favorite Things - Pure Innocence Stamp called Lather, Rinse, Repeat!  She is tooo cute in her bath tub with all the bubbles and her rubber duckie!

I stamped the image on Neenah Solar Crest paper with Memento Ink and colored her with my Copics.  I don't know if you can see it but the bubbles, the sponge, and her shower cap have glitter on them.
I used some patterned paper from My Minds Eye....  I think.  I will double check that when I get home.   Correction - the paper is from Crate Paper and it is called Neighborhood Collection.

I am going to enter this card in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything Goes!

That's all for now ladies!

Have a great rest of your day!

Wryn and Emmy - Tiddly Inks

There is a fun challenge over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog - they want you to use one of thier images and create a birthday card!  How fun is that?  Well I could not pass this up - not with the new Wryn and Emmy image I purchased a few nights ago ready for me to color!  :)

Here is my card.  I printed the image on Copic Express Blending paper and colored with my Copics.  I don't remember who I bought the DSP from, I know if comes in a clear sleeve and there are other sheets that have strawberries and veggies on them...  If you know who it's from please let me know.  I mounted the entire card on some Kraft cardstock.  I used the PTI Tiny Tags stamp to stamp the word Wish, and an SU punch for the star.  I also added some of my fabulous stitching.  ;)

Well that's it for today!  I hope you have a peaceful night.

Sweet Stamp Shop - Cool Scoop

Here is a cutie that I made using Sweet Stamp Shop's Cool Scoop stamp.  The edges of the light green DSP (of course I don't remember a where I bought it!) were punched using a Martha Stewart punch.  I added some random bling just because I love bling!  The very top scoop has a layer of glossy accents to make it look like yummy hot chocolate.

I hope you enjoyed.

Bubba Elephant- Memory Box

Whew! I have so many cards that I have made prior to having a blog that I want to share!  I feel like all I am doing is posting!  Trying to get caught up.  :)

Here are the details on the card below:

This card was made using the Bubba Elephant stamp and die from Memory Box.  I also used the Distressed Tag Die from Memory Box.  The balloons were stamped twice using the Memory Box Balloon Bundle stamp and cut out and popped up on dimensionals.  I colored Bubba and the balloons with copic markers.  I covered the balloons with Dazzling Diamonds for some amazing glitter!

The patterned paper was October Afternoon - Thrift Shop.  The sentiment is from SU.

I hope you enjoyed!

Have a great day!

Papertrey Ink - Hanging Out

Hola!  I have two cards that I made using Papertrey Inks Hanging Out stamps and dies.  This set makes the most adorable baby cards.  I have made a few already and given them to my kids coaches and my friends who are expecting.

This first card is done in pink for a little girl of course.  I don't remember the patterned paper that I used... If you are interested please let me know, I'm sure I still have it at home on the shelf.  The clouds were die cut using PTI's cloud die.  I used a little embroidery floss and a SU' flower button.

Here is my little boy card.  Again I don't remember the patterned paper off the top of my head, if you are interested please let me know.  I am sure I still have it in my stash.  :)  I think this grass was die cut using the MFT grass die.

That's it for now, have a great rest of your day!

Another Mo Image....

I'm sure you have all seen Little Smooch by Mo Manning?  Here is my take on this voluptuous lady,  Hee hee.  I think she is fantastic - just waiting for that little smooch!

I printed the image on Neenah paper and colored her with Copics.  The edges were inked using Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Inks.  I added some glitter to her jewelry - just so she shines.  :)

That's all for now, have a great day!

Mo Manning - Veronica

Good morning!  Today I am sharing a card that I made for a friends birthday.  She loves to shop - and so does Mo's image called Veronica.

I stamped her on Neenah Solar Crest paper and colored her with Copics.  The presents that she is carrying are loaded with shine and sparkle.  So are her earrings!  She is ready for the party.  :)

I am going to enter her in Mo's Bling challenge.  Wish me luck!

Have a wonderful day!

Saturated Canary!

Hi there,

My newest find in the digital stamp world is artist Krista Smith and her Saturated Canary Stamps.  I LOVE THEM!!!  Here is my first card using one of Krista's stamps.

The one I picked is called Books and Beadhead.  I think this image is tooo cute because it reminds me of my oldest daughter.  :)

I printed it on Copic Express Blending paper and colored with Copics.  I used some SU Night of Navy ink, SU coordinating card stock and Judi Kins -Papryus background stamp to create the stamped background.  The ribbon is from SU and Michaels.

I am going to enter this in Krista's Twine challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge site.  I used some light purple embossing string/twine(?) for the button.  I'm not sure if that counts as twine, but is can't hurt to try!

Have a great night!

Lawn Fawn - Admit One

Another rubber stamp company that has adorable stamps that I love is Lawn Fawn.  Here a some cards that I made using the set called Admit One.

My first card is a one that I cased from the uber talented Nicole Magourik!  Here is a link to her card:  http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/5344-nichol-magouirk/1734868-lawn-fawn-admit-one-stamp-set/
For my card I used SU's Vanilla and Whisper White card stock and Hero Arts Soft Sand ink for all of the stamping.  The balloons are colored with Copic Markers and attached using SU's dimensionals. The flag (which looks very light in this picture) was hand cut out and says "Enjoy the ride".  It is included in the Admit One set too!

My next card uses Lawn Fawn's Admit one for the delicious looking cotton candy and Waltzing Mouses's Frame It stamp.  The cotton candy has Diamond Stickles on it for some sparkle.

The final card that I have to share today uses the cute merry go round and the cotton candy stamps.  I paper pieced the top and bottom of the merry go round with DSP from October Afternoon's -The Thrift Shop.  I colored the image with Copic markers and used Antique Linen and Broken China Distress inks to shade around the card.  I added some Diamond Stickles and colored gems for some glitter!  :)

I hope you enjoyed them!  Have a wonderful rest of your day.

Some Penny Black Goodies

Hi,

I have a few cards that I made using some of my favorite stamps, which happen to be by Penny Black.  I love her cute Hedgehog characters!  All the images are colored with Copic markers.

With out further adieu here they are:

The first card is Hearts Away by Penny Black.  It is a woodblock stamp.  I used the Hero Arts Cloud Background stamp with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the clouds.  I think the sentiment is from PTI with a PTI label die, but I am not sure.  I used the Spellbinders Label Eleven die to cut out the image. The entire image was placed on a Kraft card stock base that was given a scalloped edge with a Martha Stewart punch.

My second card is made using the Garden Visit Penny Black wood block stamp.  I used the Spellbinders Label Eleven die to cut it out.  The edges are shaded with Antique Linen distress ink.  I think the DSP is My Minds Eye - Stella & Rose. I added a little bling at the bottom.  :)

My third card is using the same Garden Visit stamp and the same papers, just a different layout.  I think I like this one better.

Ok, this one was made using the Hedgey Gift stamp.  I embossed the Hero Arts Woodgrain background stamp in Versamark ink and used clear embossing powder to make the wood grain look and feel wonderful. The apples are covered with Crystal Accents to give them great shine, they look yummy in person!  :) I used a ticket corner punch and some Michaels ribbon for accent.

My next card was Hedgehog Visit.  I used the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder on the green card stock at the bottom.  I don't remember where I bought the blue gingham patterned paper...  Can you see my lovely stitching?  ;)  I LOVE how stitching looks but I am not very good at it.

Here is another version using Hedgehog Visit.  I think the DSP is from a huge pack I bought at Michaels.

This card has to be one of my favorites!  It is with the Bountiful woodblock stamp. I "faux stitched" the border and used some SU ribbon to match.  The photo does not show it but the inside of the poppies are shiny.  I used my Sakura Clear Glaze pen on them.

The final image is Poppy Fields by Penny Black.  I used my Swiss Dots Cuttle Bug Embossing folder.  I don't remember wich Spellbinder Die I used to cut our the image...  Hmmm...  I added some SU Dazzling Diamonds to the butterflies for sparkle.

I hope you enjoyed!  Have a great day!

Piggy Bath!

Hola!

I am posting a card that I made for a co-worker a few months ago (it's one that I have taken a picture of on my phone and actually have to share right now).

Here is a better picture!

Bad lighting!

The stamp is a red rubber stamp called "Piggy Bath" from Meljen.  It is colored with copics and I added some Sakura glaze pen on the paws and mud for some shine.

The photo is not to good... I will take another picture of the card and replace it with a better one.  I am going to submit this in the Meljens Anything Goes challenge over on her blog.  Here is the link to her blog:  Meljen's Designs DT blog

Have a good day!
