Mama Elephant - Boba Tea

Happy Friday!

I have an adorable card to share today using the Boba Tea set again!  I used the Six Window Cover Die from Mama Elephant. This was a little labor intensive because I make little windows for the shaker elements.  It was worth the extra time!

It reminds of a tropical sunset with all the warm oranges and peaches with the pop of teal!  LOVE IT!  I colored the stamped images with copic markers and added some glossy accents to the boba's in the cups!  I used the MFT Cloud Stencil to add a cloud background with distress oxides.

Thank you for stopping in!

Purple Onion Designs - Feeling Blue

Happy Friday!

Today I have a card that I made for my daughter who is in Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base.  For the first two months she can't use her phone - all communications need to be written.  That's a new thing for this generation which is used to instantaneous communications!

I love these new stamps from Julian Charlton!!!

I colored up this adorable image with copic markers.  I used the MFT Cloud Stencil and distress oxide inks to make a cloud background.  I love how this turned out!

Here are the markers that I used on this image.  Here is a fer pics of my daughter at BMT during this Covid era:

Mama Elephant - Boba Tea

Hi Crafty friends,

Today I have a card to share using the Mama Elephant Boba Tea stamp and die sets!  Boy I do love how cute these little images are!

I made this card to send to my daughter at BMT.  I had everyone come over and we all put a little message in there for her!  She loved it!

I used the distress oxide's above to make a background color that I turned into a shake with the Mama Elephant Slimline Basics Die set.  I then colored all the little images with copics and added them to the front of the card.  Its so super cute!  I sent Priya the pictures below so she can feel a part of the get together.

Here is a pic of me, my mom, and my sister in our backyard.

Here is my family and my sister and her husband.  Good times!

My Favorite Things - Sweet Celebrations

Happy Monday!

Is there such a thing??  LOL, I was seriously considering staying home today!  Its raining here in San Diego today and you know people do not know how to drive in the rain!

Anyways, I made a card this weekend to send to one of my cousins for their birthday.  I want to send all of my cousins a handmade card this year for their birthday.  Here is card number one:

I love how this little turtle came out.  Since the majority of my cousins are male and in their 30's and 40's IDK what they are going to think about these sweet cards :).  BUT, they will be getting them so we will see.  This card uses the MFT Sweet Celebrations stamp set and a die cut that I had in my stash.  I colored it up with copic markers and added some soft clouds with theMFT Clouds stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distresss Oxide Ink.  I added some Shimmer Pen to the banner and his little hat.

Thank you for stopping by!

I also cut the frames using the MFT Stitched Rectangle Frame dies cuts.  The clouds are made with the MFT Cloud Stencil and distress oxide inks.

I used my shimmer pen on details on the planes and the banners. The copic markers used for both cards are below.

I hope you have a great rest of the week - we are halfway done!

My Favorite Things - Jumping Giraffe

Happy New Year Crafty Friends!

Today I have the first card for 2020 to share with you.  One of my New Year resolutions is to give a hand made birthday card to everyone important in my life.  I already missed one of the most important people in my life's birthday! AND I am going to rectify that even though it will be a little late!

I have been making cards this past weekend using stamps that I have previously purchased.  I am also trying to curtail my spending and pay off debt! So that means shopping my stash.  I came across this super cute stamp from MFT.  It is perfect for a quick birthday card - maybe for a co-worker.

Here it is colored up using copic markers.  I added little details using a white gel pen.

Here are the colors that I used for this little guy.

Here is a picture of the finished card.  I used the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle die.  I also used distress oxide inks and the MFT Cloud and Grass Stencils.

I hope you enjoyed this super cute card.  Thank you for stopping by!

My Favorite Things - Piggy Pebbles

Hi!

Today I have a card to share that uses the little pigs that I colored a few days ago for the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge.  I used them on this card:

I put the colors that I used on the pigs beside them.  A few people were asking about it. I used Distress Oxides to create the sky and splashed some water for added interest.  I hand drew the puddle and colored the water and dirt with copic markers.

Here is a close up of the pigs.  They are so adorable!  I added details with my white gel pen.

Thank you for stopping in!

Lawn Fawn/My Favorite Things - Scalloped Treat Box/Tiki Party

Hey Everyone -

I made this cute little Scalloped Treat Box with the Lawn Fawn Die and decorated it with the My Favorite Things Tiki Party stamps set.  we all have stamps and dies from multiple companies and I rarely mix them...  I don't know why but I don't.  Well I did on this little goodie and I love how it turned out.

I die cut the box and stamped all the images on Neenah Desert storm paper.  I then colored it up with copics.  That alone gives it such a different look! I do have the coordinating dies but it is the old type that is hard to see when die cutting.  I didn't want to go through the process of dies cutting and then matching it up etc. so I just fussy cut the images.

I think the little palm tress and huts are my favorite!

The little guitar and flowers look so tropical.

I added white gel pen to everything.  It just made it pop on this color card stock.

Here is a little video of all sides of the box.  If it does not work here you can view it over on my Instagram @inktimesomewhere.

Today I have a card using a stamp set that I have has in my stash for a little while - it's the Stitched Onesie from Newton's Nook.  Its day 6 for The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge.

These are so darn cute!  I used the coordinating die to cut them out.  I tell you it added the cutest stitched lines to the stamped images!  I colored these with my copic markers.

I made the two cards above with the die cute onesies.  I made an easy background using Distress Oxide inks and my blending brushes.  I added some details with the string clothesline and the sequins.

Craftin' Desert Divas - Magical Unicorns

Hey Everyone,

I have a super cute card to share with you today.  I used the Magical Unicorn stamp set from Craftin' Desert Divas.  I just love these little guys!  I'm still playing along with The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge.  :)

I made a "slimline" card.  This just means that it is a long card.  The dimensions of 8 1/2 inches and 3 1/2 inches. It fits into a Size 9 envelope with room to spare.

I colored them with copic markers and fussy cut all the images out.  The cloud background was created using the MFT Cloud Stencil and Broken China Distress Ink.

You can't see it in the pictures but I added tons of sparkle to these images.  Hopefully you can see in the video above.

Thank you for stopping by!
