Honey Bee Stamps - Frappe Shake Die

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today I have some cute Frappe Cards that look delicious!  I made them using the Honey Bee Stamps Frappe Shake Die.

I love how these turned out!

I love the pinky purple of this one.  I used the Liquid Applique on all of these for the whipped cream.

I used some Distress Inks and added little splashes of water to add some interest.

The little waffle hearts are from my stash.  The various sentiments are from Taylored Expressions.

I love how these cards came out!

My Favorite Things - Rainbow Whimsy

Happy Monday!

I made a little trio of cards this weekend .  With everything going on right now with racism and the Black Lives Matter movement I felt that these cards were 100% fitting!  I saw the card below:

I really loved the "skin tone" rainbow.  So I used the MFT Rainbow Whimsy die and  made the cards below using a similar rainbow pattern.

I used an Altenew stamp set for the sentiments.

My Favorite Things - Sweetie Pie

Hi Crafty friends!

Today I have a card using the Sweetie Pie Die sets from MFT.  I think this came out so sweet!  lol.

I die cut the Sweetie outer shadow with Neenah Desert Storm then die cut the Sweetie Pie in red card stock.  I layered them up and love the look!  I them made the little cherry pies.  I used a silver sharpie for the pie tins and used the Tea Dye Distress Ink make the pies look baked.  I added some Barn Door behind the vent holes in the pies and added some stickles so its shiny and glittery.  Last, I added some gel pen for interest.

Mama Elephant - Boba Tea

Happy Friday!

I have an adorable card to share today using the Boba Tea set again!  I used the Six Window Cover Die from Mama Elephant. This was a little labor intensive because I make little windows for the shaker elements.  It was worth the extra time!

It reminds of a tropical sunset with all the warm oranges and peaches with the pop of teal!  LOVE IT!  I colored the stamped images with copic markers and added some glossy accents to the boba's in the cups!  I used the MFT Cloud Stencil to add a cloud background with distress oxides.

Purple Onion Designs - Feeling Blue

Happy Friday!

Today I have a card that I made for my daughter who is in Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base.  For the first two months she can't use her phone - all communications need to be written.  That's a new thing for this generation which is used to instantaneous communications!

I love these new stamps from Julian Charlton!!!

I colored up this adorable image with copic markers.  I used the MFT Cloud Stencil and distress oxide inks to make a cloud background.  I love how this turned out!

Here are the markers that I used on this image.  Here is a fer pics of my daughter at BMT during this Covid era:

Mama Elephant - Boba Tea

Hi Crafty friends,

Today I have a card to share using the Mama Elephant Boba Tea stamp and die sets!  Boy I do love how cute these little images are!

I made this card to send to my daughter at BMT.  I had everyone come over and we all put a little message in there for her!  She loved it!

I used the distress oxide's above to make a background color that I turned into a shake with the Mama Elephant Slimline Basics Die set.  I then colored all the little images with copics and added them to the front of the card.  Its so super cute!  I sent Priya the pictures below so she can feel a part of the get together.

Here is a pic of me, my mom, and my sister in our backyard.

Here is my family and my sister and her husband.  Good times!

Graduation - Light Bulb

Hi Crafty Peeps!

Happy Monday - if there is such a thing - LOL!  I have a little project to share that I made for my niece's college graduation.

For event's like graduations and birthdays the kids are older now so we give money.  I was looking for a unique way to gift her present to her and I came across this idea on Pinterest!  I bought a large light bulb container  and added some shred to the inside. I then rolled up different bills and taped them a little so it stays closed.  I inserted them into the bulb!

I did not have a sentiment for this in my stash so I made one on the computer and used a tag die to cut it out!  It fir perfectly over the top of the bulb!

Here is a little picture of some of our family at the graduation get together at my sister's house.

Thanks for stopping in!

Mother's Day - Envelope Box

Hi Everyone!

Today I am sharing the Mother's Day card that I made for my mom.  Now, I have seen and LOVE those envelope boxes that are mostly seen internationally.  I don't see anyone really make them in the US.  BUT, I had to make one for my mom!

Please excuse the the picture quality - I had to snap them really quick because my mom was coming over!

Here is a picture of the box with the card inside it.  I used flowers that I have had forever from Prima and Michael's Recollections.

Here is a close up of the box with out the card in it.

This is the card that I made to go into the the box.  I just love how it came out!!

Here are the flowers along with the box/card.  :)

Last but not least are these BEAUTIFUL flowers that my husband bought for me.

I love lilies and he always gets me then for occasions.

I love them!!!

Reverse Confetti - Cute as a Button

Hi Friends!

It has been crazy at work with the Corona virus pandemic!  I hope you're all doing well.  I have a lot of cards that I have made over the past few months that I will need to post on my blog!

Lets start with this little set of cards that I made for all the babies that friends and family will be having.  I used the Reverse Confetti stamp set Cute as a Button and the coordinating die for all of the cards. For the first card I used the MFT Cloud Stencil and added the background clouds in coordinating oxide inks.  I then added the die cut onesies and some bling with the sparkly sequins.  The sentiment is from MFT's Welcome Little One set.

I stamped all of the onesie's in different colored distress oxide inks and added little splatters of ink behind them using the MFT Distressed Patters stamp set. I added some enamel dots from my stash to finish it off.

On this card I stamped the background using a stripped background stamp that I inked up with the coordinating oxide inks.  I made a clothesline and added some glittered clothespins and sequins to finish it off.

On my final card, I used the same background striped stamp to make a background with the distress oxide inks and then die cut a velum rectangle to "tone down" the background.  I added the enamel dots for a finishing touch.

I hope you enjoyed this bundle of joy cards!  I sure did when I made them.

Papertrey Ink & Simon Says Stamp - Onesie and Oh Baby Dies

Hey Crafty Friends,

I hope you are having a good day.  My daughter is a photographer and she has several friends/clients who are having babies.  She asked me to make a few baby cards for her to give to them soooooo.... I went to town!  I used a onesie die that I have from PTI forever!  I made two cards. One using the die cut and one using the negative die cut paper.

This first card uses the onesie die cut from PTI.  I also put the Oh Baby die cut from SSS as the sentiment.  I really like the patterned paper  that I chose for these two cards.

I liked it so much I couldn't toss out the die use portion!  I had to use it to make a shaker card!  I mixed sentiment stamps to add the sentiments to these cards.

Thank you for stopping in!

My Favorite Things - Let's Stick Together

Happy Monday Peeps!

Today I am sharing 4 super cute cards that I made using the stamp and dies set from MFT called Let's Stick Together.  I'm still going strong with my quest to make birthday cards and while this set is more like a "couples" type of set, I improvised!

On this first card I used the "stitched dome" - I have to check the actual name of the die cut and  then sponged some clouds on it with Tumbled Glass Oxide ink.  I then attached the little stamped images that I colored with copic markers on the dies cut.  The sentiment is from another MFT stamp set.

Here is the second card that I made using the stamp set.  Again its colored with copics and I attached these directly onto the card front.

This one is so fun to me. I love the little cactus with the sombrero!  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from another MFT stamp set.

This is the last card I made using this stamp set.  I made this adorable shaker card!

I used some Distress oxide inks to make up the background in the  shaker look like a desert sunset.  I then used the same colors to add clouds to the base of the card.  I think it looks amazing!

There is a close up showing some movement.

I used the same copic colors on all of the images.

My Favorite Things - Let's Toast Die Set

Happy Friday!

Today I am sharing a few cards that I made using the Let's Toast  Dies from MFT.  First of all I just want to say that I love how these cards came together!  It was quick and I love the quantity of glasses on each card.

First I die cut a ton of the various glass shapes.  I then used Distress Oxide Inks to quickly color them up.  One this first card I used a brick wall stencil to add a background wall then I added the glasses right on top.

I love the shimmer on the drinks!

On the next card I again colored them up with Oxide inks.  It was quick and colorful!  I added some sequins for the bling on this card.

This is a one layer card so it is perfect for sending in the mail.

For the final card I made using this set I went all out! LOL!!! I tried to add as many glasses as I could on the card.

I used a background piece of patterned paper from my stash.  I again added lots of sequins.

I hope you like them!  It was a lot of fun making this set.  I used a few different MFT dies and stamp sets for the sentiments.

Thank you for poppin in!
