My Favorite Things - Piggy Pebbles

Hi!

Today I have a card to share that uses the little pigs that I colored a few days ago for the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge.  I used them on this card:

I put the colors that I used on the pigs beside them.  A few people were asking about it. I used Distress Oxides to create the sky and splashed some water for added interest.  I hand drew the puddle and colored the water and dirt with copic markers.

Here is a close up of the pigs.  They are so adorable!  I added details with my white gel pen.

Thank you for stopping in!

My Favorite Things - Chinese Take Out & Good Fortune

Hi Friends,

I made a card for a co-worker who is having a birthday soon.  I wanted to use the MFT die Chinese Take Out and Good Fortune stamp set. I just bought this die - it is retired and thought it was super cute.

I used the Monstera Leaf Cover Up for a background and used some distress oxide ink to give it some nice green color.  I popped that up with foam tape.  I then die cut the take out container and the little handle out of some silver heavy weight cardstock.  I cut the chop sticks out of some "wood" adhesive paper - not sure if I like this stuff - lol.  It could be that the dies are very skinny - idk.  I die cut the fortune cookie and sponged the edges with distress ink in Tea Dye to give is some dimension.

This card is for the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge.

Thank you for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn/My Favorite Things - Scalloped Treat Box/Tiki Party

Hey Everyone -

I made this cute little Scalloped Treat Box with the Lawn Fawn Die and decorated it with the My Favorite Things Tiki Party stamps set.  we all have stamps and dies from multiple companies and I rarely mix them...  I don't know why but I don't.  Well I did on this little goodie and I love how it turned out.

I die cut the box and stamped all the images on Neenah Desert storm paper.  I then colored it up with copics.  That alone gives it such a different look! I do have the coordinating dies but it is the old type that is hard to see when die cutting.  I didn't want to go through the process of dies cutting and then matching it up etc. so I just fussy cut the images.

I think the little palm tress and huts are my favorite!

The little guitar and flowers look so tropical.

I added white gel pen to everything.  It just made it pop on this color card stock.

Here is a little video of all sides of the box.  If it does not work here you can view it over on my Instagram @inktimesomewhere.

My Favorite Things - Purrfect Friends

Hey Friends,

I have a soft sweet card to share with you all today using the Purrfect Friends stamps set from My Favorite Things.  I did something very different for me on this card - I used colored pencils!  I have both Prisma Pencils and Polychromos Pencils and I rarely use either.  Well I went out of my comfort zone here.  :)

I think I definitely need to practice with these but I do like how this card came out.  I used this collage die from MFT and made a little scene with the kitties!

This card is for Day 10 of the Daily Marker 30 Day challenge.

Thanks for looking!

My Favorite Things - Over the Moon for Ewe

Happy Monday!

Today I am sharing a card that I made using the Over the Moon for Ewe stamp set from MFT.  I made this card and colored up these stamsp for Day 7 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge.  I'm still going!

I used my Zig Watercolor markers for these.

I used my Scan N Cut to cut the images and it worked beautifully!  It is really hit or miss with this machine.  I must be doing something wrong.  Sometimes it cuts the little parts individually - IDK.  It's frustrating.  But these were perfect! I used the MFT Clouds stencil to made a simple background.  The grass was also an MFT Die.

Thank you for stopping by.

Newton's Nook - Stitched Onesie

Hi!

Today I have a card using a stamp set that I have has in my stash for a little while - it's the Stitched Onesie from Newton's Nook.  Its day 6 for The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge.

These are so darn cute!  I used the coordinating die to cut them out.  I tell you it added the cutest stitched lines to the stamped images!  I colored these with my copic markers.

I made the two cards above with the die cute onesies.  I made an easy background using Distress Oxide inks and my blending brushes.  I added some details with the string clothesline and the sequins.

Craftin' Desert Divas - Magical Unicorns

Hey Everyone,

I have a super cute card to share with you today.  I used the Magical Unicorn stamp set from Craftin' Desert Divas.  I just love these little guys!  I'm still playing along with The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge.  :)

I made a "slimline" card.  This just means that it is a long card.  The dimensions of 8 1/2 inches and 3 1/2 inches. It fits into a Size 9 envelope with room to spare.

I colored them with copic markers and fussy cut all the images out.  The cloud background was created using the MFT Cloud Stencil and Broken China Distress Ink.

You can't see it in the pictures but I added tons of sparkle to these images.  Hopefully you can see in the video above.

Thank you for stopping by!

Pretty Pink Posh - Summer Surfboards

Hi everyone!

Today I have a card I made last night featuring the new stamp set that I just had to get from Pretty Pink Posh called Summer Surfboards.  This is day 3 of The Daily Marker 30 Day color challenge.

First of all I love all things water, and the beach, and palm trees, and surfboards!  LOL - it's funny because I can't swim!  anyway back to this super cute set and this card!

I colored these up with my Zig Kuretake markers.  I love the soft look that I got with these!

I made a simple background with some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide's and my Life Changing Blender Brushes.  Easy peasy!

I also filmed a little video that shows all the sparkle and shine that the shimmer pens in gold and clear/silver added.

My Favorite Things - The Whole Herd

Happy Friday!

Today I'm sharing a card I made last weekend 😥 but did not have a chance to post on my blog.  I used a stamp set from My Favorite Things called The Whole Herd.  I've had this set for a while but never inked it up.

I used my Zig Clean Color Markers on these images.  I cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut, and I don't know how to select the outer lines on some of the images.... so it cut a few out piece by piece.  Regardless it looks adorable!

I have a little video to share that show the sparkles on the card.  If it does not work for you - you can go over to my Instagram and see the clip there.

Thank you for popping over!

Mama Elephant - Hogs and Kisses

Hi Crafty Friends!

I have a super cute card to show you today!  I purchased the Mama Elephant Hogs and Kisses stamp set because those little pigs are so darn cute! I had a chance over the Memorial Day holiday to make a card using them.

I used my Scan N Cut and cut out the images after I colored them up using the "no line" technique and my Zig Clean Color Brush markers.  I used the Stitched Dome Frame dies from MFT along with the Grassy Edges border dies to create the background.  The clouds were created with the Cloud Stencil and Tumbled Glass Oxide ink.  I used my Life Changing Blender brushes to create them.  Lastly the sentiment was stamped on the MFT Fishtail Flag Trio dies.  I had to cut them down to fit and it looks perfect!

Here's a little video showing how nice and shiny the Nuvo Shimmer Pen makes everything look! If the video does not work you can view it on my Instagram @inktimesomewhere

Mama Elephant - Wish Upon A Star

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I have a card I made using the Mama Elephant Wish Upon a Star stamp set.  This card is so beautiful and softly colored and sparkly!

I used a stencil from MFT for the cloud background and I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink for that soft effect.  I colored all the images with Zig Kuretake Clean Color markers and fussy cut the images.  I am going to have to buy this die set - lol.  Even though I think I should try and cut them out using my Scan N Cut first!

I used some Diamond Stickles around the edges of the clouds and the moon for the sparkle.

Here is a little video that shows the sparkle. If the video doesn't work you can see the post on my Instagram: @inktimesomewhere

avery Elle - Phonomenal

Hi Everyone!

I hope you guys had a good work week and are enjoying your weekend!  I have a card I made last weekend that I wanted to share on my blog.  I used the Phonomenal Stamp set from Avery Elle.  I love this adorable set! The little bowls of pho are so stinkin' cute!  Personally I have tried pho and I don't really like it - I think it's the anise or ginger in it that I don't like - but I love all stamps that look like little bowls of soup! lol.

I paper pieced the little blue polka dotted edge of the bowl and I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.  I colored these up with my Zig Clean Color markers but I did not do the "no line" coloring on these.  I used a stencil to create the leaf background with my Oxide Ink and Life Changing blender brushes.

Thank you for stopping by!
