Joy Ride - Tiddly Inks

Good evening, I have a last card to share this evening.  The stamp that I used is one that I won from the Tiddly Inks Photo Inspiration challenge.  It's called Wryn-Joy Ride.

Isn't it adorable???  I love the little bug!  My youngest daughter wants one when she can drive - hers has to be pink though!  :)

I used October Afternoon's Thrift Shop paper for the map and Recollections Elegance paper for the background.   I colored the image with copics and added some sparkle to the box labels and the heart exhaust.

I am entering this in the challenge below:

I hope you enjoy!

No Coloring Allowed! - YCU Challenge

Hey there! I have a quickie card that I made for the Young Crafters Unite challenge.  They want no coloring at all allowed, so here is what I came up with:

I used pink card stock and embossed clear dots on it, then punched it out with my SU butteryfly punch.  I punched out the butterflies again in vellum and added dazzling diamonds to the edges.  Two pearls for the bodies and I was finished with them.  I completed the card with som ric rac ribbon and hand drew in some flight trails.

Bubbles Girl - Mo Manning

Happy Saturday Chickies!  We work all week for this!  :)

Today I have a cute Mo image called bubbles girl - of course she is ADORABLE!  I printed her on copic express paper and of course colored her with my copics.  I did allot of stitching on the panels - whew.  It's getting easier... now my cards don't look finished to me unless I stitch around everthing!  I used my favorite Kioshi Paper from Basic Grey - love the colors!

I used sunlight for lighting on this picture, my girls told me that my cards look dark when I use my OTT light....  It could be because I don't have this fantastic photo shoot area... LOL

Any way, there she is in all her cuteness!  I added some Iridescent Halo pen to the bubbles and the bubble bottle.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Have a great day!

Hello card makers!  :)  Today I have a fun card that I made using a Penny Black Hedgehog holding a balloon!  I LOVE these little critters!  Well, maybe not in real life but definitely in stamp version.  :)  I sponged the background clouds with Tumbled Glass and Broken China distress inks.

Copic Storage

Hi Peeps -

I don't have a card to share at this minute but I do have my new copic storage case to share!  I am so excited about this!!!  I was looking online for ideas on copic storage.  I used to keep all of my copics in a tupperware container:

Sorry for the blurry picture.  I had to crop a pic of my cabinet and zoom in to show what it looked like.  I have found a picture and a website online called Perpetual Playtime, here is a picture of her storage case:

Isn't that just the best thing!!!  :)   Well.... after seeing this I just had to have one so I went ahead and purchased a Double Deep Art Bin from Joann's ($19.99) and some egg crate at Home Depot ($12.97) and a few 5 inch screws, bolts and washers from Home Depot ($5.00 is my estimate - we bought some other stuff for the yard too).  Kenny (my husband) helped to measure and cut the grids and set up the bolts and washers for me.  :)  He is WONDERFUL!!  It really took him about 15 minutes to put it together for me.  Here is a picture of mine:

What I did was set my copics up in the order of the new copic color chart.  My old chart from Ellen Hutson does not have the new colors, so I had to recolor the new one.  So all the extra spaces are the markers that I still need.  My husband DID NOT like seeing that.  :)

Here is a picture of it standing up:

And one if it closed:

And last but not least here is a picture of my new color chart:

Here is the link to Redonna's blog where I got this idea.  http://perpetual-playtime.blogspot.com/2011/07/new-copic-marker-storage.html

Mine is not exactly like hers, my husband had to cut the grid a little differently and her used screws, nuts, and washers.

I hope you enjoyed.

Pineapple Girl - Mo Manning

Hey Chickies!  It is about 1:00 AM in San Diego and I am creating cards!  LOL.  I just bought all of the little fruit girls from Mo Manning and I had to use one tonight!  Weeellllllllll....  2 hours later!  It is really hard for me to find a layout, so I looked , and looked and finally I found one.

This card was created using the Pineapple Girl digi stamp from Mo Manning.  I printed on Copic Blending paper and colored with copics.  I used patterned paper from a paper pad called Surf's Up from Michaels.  It had these fun glittery fuschia flowers along with some matte flowers.  I added some dazzling diamonds to her lei and the flowers on her dress and in her hair.  She looks so sparkley in reality!  I added some fuschia ribbon from my stash.  To finish the card I added some Daisy Doodles flowers in Lemon and Candy Pink and a few rhinestones for the centers.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms.  The entire card is mounted on a Kraft base.

I am going to enter this in the following challenges:

That's it for me tonight!

Enjoy the Rain - Saturated Canary

Good Evening Ladies!  I have an interesting card for you today.  It is interesting because the copics I used are not ones that I use all the time so I am not comfortable at all blending and coloring with them!  It is just the colors that have thrown me off...  Oh well - I created a card using the Enjoy the Rain digi stamp from Saturated Canary.  I used patterned paper from the Stella Rose paper pad from My Minds Eye.  Such earthy tones in there!  I added everything onto kraft card stock and stitched all the panels.  I added some Woven Lace Ribbon from Hero Arts and a flower from Basic Grey called Hopscotch Bloomers.

The light has a funny glare on the umbrella.... hmmm.  I added glossy accents to the umbrella and some gems.

I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:

Have a good night!

I also used a scallop punch for the edge of the paper strip in the middle and a small circle stamp for the edge of the circle.  As a final touch I added glossy accents to her eyes and her wand star.

I used my corner chomper for the top two corners.

Here is my Happy Heart Card:
