Today I have a few little "beach" houses that I have been working on that I would like to share with you. I made three different beach shacks so its like a little neighborhood. Here is a picture of all three.
Aren't the adorable! I am addicted to making these. :) I used the Tim Holtz Village Dwelling die as the base for all of the houses and I used the the Village Surf Shack the details like the window frames the palm trees, the surf boards and the porch for the middle shack pictured above. The little fence comes from the Village Bungalow add on die.
Here is a close up of the house with a "tin roof"! Isn't it adorable??? You can kind of see in the picture the tea light I have glowing on the inside of the house. I cut strips of patterned paper and distressed the edges to make it look like wood panels on the outside.
On this one I used burlap to make the roof and added some moss as shrubs around the outside.
On the final house I used some wood grain sticky paper to cut out the roof with the Rooftops add on die. I distressed the cut outs to give it more dimension. I just love these little beach houses!
