Hey ladies!

Hope you had a great weekend.  It flew by - like usual.  :)

This week over at The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog, we have a CAS challenge for you.  Here is my make:

I used Reader by Saturated Canary.  She reminds me of my oldest daughter.

I colored her up with copics.  She has some Wink of Stella that adds just a little sparkle.

I used the Carta Bella So Noted paper pad.  Please join us for this CAS challenge over at TPE.

Uptown Couple - Stamping Bella - TPE247

Hey there,

Today I have an extra special card to share with you.  It's for one of my cousins who is getting
married in July.  :)

Her bridal shower is on Sunday and I made this sweet card for her.  This week at The Pink Elephant the challenge is to use the watercoloring technique on your card.  Well, I am not really used to this at all!  But I chose to use my Distress Ink Markers - and it turned out BEAUTIFUL!

I used a sheet of paper from the So Noted, Carta Bella paper pad.  I stamped the image in Staz-On ink on some SU water color paper.  I then colored up the image with my distress markers.

Here's a close up.  I really love this technique, and I will be using it again!  :)

Please join us this week at TPE and show us your wonderful water colored card!

Thanks for stopping by,

Party Time - Jane's Doodles

Hey there,  I hope your having a good day!

Today I have a CAS card that I made for my nephew's 14th birthday.  I don't know what it is, but making boy cards are so HARD!   I can make cute cards all day long - as soon as I need a boy or male card - all creativity flies out of the window!

I used the Party Time set by Jane's Doodles,  I love the cakes and presents in this set.  :)

I colored the image with copics and and decorated with stickles.

I used the So Noted, Carta Bella paper pad for this card.  You can find this set and many more at Jane's store.

Thanks for stopping by!

Backpack Friends - Saturated Canary - TPE245

Happy Monday!  Let's hope this work week flies by!  :)

This week at The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog we have a "Photo Inspiration" theme.

I used a digital image from Saturated Canary that I received for donating to one of the wonderful causes that Krista was trying to collect for - the image Backpack Friends was a gift from Krista for donating.  :)  She is such a wonderful human being - very kind and always doing for others.

Here is my card.  Needless to say I love this entire card!  :)  I used a Carta Bella paper pad called So Noted.  Very soft and feminine papers in this paper pad.

Here's a close up of the colored image.  I colored my card with copic markers.

I used some hand dyed seam binding for the bow and added some flowers and stuff from my stash.

Please pop over to the TPE blog and join us for this weeks fun challenge!

Art Impressions - Girlfriends, Picture Perfect & a Video Tutorial!!!

Hi!  Today I have a cute card using a stamp set from Art Impressions called Picture Perfect.  I love these ladies!  They are a great group of friends.  :)

I used a  paper pad  from Catra Bella called So Noted for this card.  The layout is from the challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.

I used Pro Markers for thier skin and copics for thier out fits.  I colored the lady in purple with a hoodie, I think it is supposed to be hair, but it just looks like a hoodie to me.  :)

I added some lace trim and a cute ribbon from my stash for the bow.  The sentiment is from SU.

Here is a close up on the little wooden camera embellishment.  I covered it with he Wink of Stella pen.

Here is the video I have of the coloring process:

I hope you enjoy it!  Here is a link to my Youtube channel.  I will try to add videos for the cards I make as I go along.

Pricilla Pie - Saturated Canary - Songbird Challenge #27

Hi ladies-

I have a sweet card to share with you today using Pricilla Pie by Saturated Canary for the Dancing Queen Challenge over at the Songbird Challenge Blog.

This is my first card as a design team member - whoo hooo!!! :)

I colored the image with copics and added lots of rhinestones!  I think the song fitting for her would be "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"  by Cyndi Lauper.  She looks like she is playing dress up.

Here is a little close up of my coloring and the bling.

I used the So Noted, Carta Bella Paper Pad for this card.  Please stop on by the Songbird Challenge Blog and join in on the Dancing Queen Challenge.

Thanks for visiting!
