Funny Face - Redonkadoodles (TPE229)

Happy Monday Mernin! (Pronounced mer-ning ;)) Today over at the Pink Elephant Challenge blog we have a Recipe for you to follow you need to use 2 Pattern Papers, Ribbon, & Sprinkle of Sparkle!

http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/

I have one of my new favorite images to share with you all today - she is called Funny Face from Redonkadoodles.  This is a great image and it can be used for so many different types of cards.

I did a "wonky angled" card.  I kind of like it...  A little change from my standard OCD straight up and down - LOL.  I used two different paper pads, one is Merry Little Christmas from My Minds Eye.  The pink glitter paper is from DCWV Glitzy Pastels paper pad.

I colored her with Pro Markers and Copics.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Winter Wishes set.  As you can see I added some sparkle with the glitter paper and some sequins.  The ribbon is from my vast stash.  ;)

Come on over and join us in this weeks fun Recipe Challenge!

Gingerbread House - Jane's Doodles

Happy Friday!

I have a sweet card to share with you today.  I used the Gingerbread House from Jane's Doodles

I printed the image on Neenah Solar White paper and colored it with copic markers.  I used the Spiral Notebook die from Papertrey Ink to cut out the main image.

Here is a close up on the image.

The paper pad is The Sweet Stack from DCWV.  It worked perfectly with the little candy house.

I don't think you can see it very well in the pictures but I used the Wink of Stella pen on all the little "snow" pieces and on the candies.  I used the SSSC #195 sketch for this card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Haunted House - (TPE222)

Hi there,

The first card that I made as a TPE designer is for the TPE222 Challenge.  The theme is Trick or Treat.  For my card I used a stamp that I purchased from Michael's for Halloween projects.  I embossed the haunted house and then used Faded Jeans, Scattered Straw, and Tea Dye distress inks around the image for a scary look.

I used my Fiskars cloud punches for the two clouds.  I popped the main image up on foam tape and tied the black twine bow with the sentiment and button.

Here is a close up of the embossed house.  I used the Wink of Stella pen on the moon and the windows.  The patterned paper is from DCWV - The Spooky Time Stack.

Lastly, I used a few enamel dots from MME for some interest.  Please join us for the challenge this week over on The Pink Elephant Blog and check out what the other talented designers have created!  This cad fits perfectly for the Simon Says Stamp challege here!

Thanks for visiting!

Fairy Klara - Jane's Doodles

Hi there,

I have a fun card to share with you tonight that I made using a fun digi image called Fairy Klara from Jane's Doodles.

I used DCWV's The Sweet Stack for all of the layered ovals and the background.

I colored her with my copics and added Stickles to the wings and all round the main image.

I added some lace ribbon on the border and tied a sheer ribbon.  I added a little rhinestone brad o the bow.  If you can see the the added texture dots around the two perimeter ovals.  Looks very cute in real life.

You can find this image here at Janes shop.

I used the sketch below for this card:

Halloween - Hand made Cauldron

Hi Ladies -

Today I have a card I made for one of my co-workers who LOVES Halloween!

I used a few different punches to create a witches cauldron.  It came out pretty good, she liked it alot.

I used papers from a 12 by 12 pack that I bought from Michaels.  I layered it on top of a kraft base.  The cauldron is popped up on foam tape and has some blue tulle coming out of it like smoke.  I added some Stickles to the tulle so it looks sparkle-y in real life.  I went around the cauldron with some white gel pen fo show some dimension...  I punched a tag using my SU tag punch and stamped a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Halloween set.  I went around the tag with some white gel pen and added a string bow as a final touch.

Enjoy!

Baby Shower Card- Pink Cat Studio

Hi Ladies,

Today I have a card and tag to share that I made for my cousins baby shower.  It goes with the diaper cake that I made a few weeks ago.

Here is the card and tag.  So cute!  :)

I used kraft cardstock for the base and then I used Nana's Nursery from DCWV for the patterned papers.  I punched out a tag and out a PTI sentiment that says Sweet Baby.  The adorable baby monkey is a digital image from Pink Cat Studios.

Hope you enjoy!

Sweet Dreams Wryn - Tiddly Inks

Hi Chicas!

I hope you had a peaceful weekend.  I made a cute card using one of the digital stamps that I won from Tiddly Inks.

It is called Sweet Dreams Wryn.  It actually came with two images, but I used this one with cutie pie Wryn reading a book.  I printed the image on Copic Xpress paper and colored it with copics.  I used a paper pad from Michaels called All About the Girls by DCWV.  I all the edged with Antique Linen and some with my Tim Holtz distressing tool.  I used my Spellbinders circle die for the main image.

I am submitting this card to the link below:

Hope you have a great day!
