Mother's Day - Envelope Box

Hi Everyone!

Today I am sharing the Mother's Day card that I made for my mom.  Now, I have seen and LOVE those envelope boxes that are mostly seen internationally.  I don't see anyone really make them in the US.  BUT, I had to make one for my mom!

Please excuse the the picture quality - I had to snap them really quick because my mom was coming over!

Here is a picture of the box with the card inside it.  I used flowers that I have had forever from Prima and Michael's Recollections.

Here is a close up of the box with out the card in it.

This is the card that I made to go into the the box.  I just love how it came out!!

Here are the flowers along with the box/card.  :)

Last but not least are these BEAUTIFUL flowers that my husband bought for me.

I love lilies and he always gets me then for occasions.

I love them!!!

Thank you for stopping by!

Clear Jar Stamp - Recollections

Hey there,

I have a card for Thanksgiving to share with you all today.  I was at Michael's the other day and piccked up this clear stamp set from Recollections that has two different size jars and a couple of at sentiments in it.  I decided to make a card for one of my co-workers for Thanksgiving.  :)

I used the small jar and colored it with copics.  The flowers were stamped with SU's Really Rust Ink.

I added a few rhinestones to the flower centers and added a sentiment from Taylored Expressions A Year of Sweet Sentiments set.

That gorgeous bow is from my hand dyed seam binding.  The paper is from Kaiser Craft Miss Empire paper pad.  I am going to enter this card into the Simon Says Stamp challenge.  :)

Haunted House - (TPE222)

Hi there,

The first card that I made as a TPE designer is for the TPE222 Challenge.  The theme is Trick or Treat.  For my card I used a stamp that I purchased from Michael's for Halloween projects.  I embossed the haunted house and then used Faded Jeans, Scattered Straw, and Tea Dye distress inks around the image for a scary look.

I used my Fiskars cloud punches for the two clouds.  I popped the main image up on foam tape and tied the black twine bow with the sentiment and button.

Here is a close up of the embossed house.  I used the Wink of Stella pen on the moon and the windows.  The patterned paper is from DCWV - The Spooky Time Stack.

Lastly, I used a few enamel dots from MME for some interest.  Please join us for the challenge this week over on The Pink Elephant Blog and check out what the other talented designers have created!  This cad fits perfectly for the Simon Says Stamp challege here!

Thanks for visiting!

3 Surf Boards - Tiffany Doodles

Hey ladies -

I hope you all had a good day.  I have a friend who went on vacation to the island of Tavarua.  SHe and her family had a wonderful time and she asked me to make a few thank you cards for her.  One of her requests was that a card have surf boards on it.... hmmmmm.  I didn't have any stamps with that image so I went looking and found this image below from Tiffany Doodles:

I used a paper pad from Recollections called Surf's Up.  Very cute papers there.  I cut out the boards and popped the middle one up on dimensionals.  The card is adorable IRL!  :)

I hope she likes it!

Have a great night!
