Mama Elephant - Boba Tea

Happy Friday!

I have an adorable card to share today using the Boba Tea set again!  I used the Six Window Cover Die from Mama Elephant. This was a little labor intensive because I make little windows for the shaker elements.  It was worth the extra time!

It reminds of a tropical sunset with all the warm oranges and peaches with the pop of teal!  LOVE IT!  I colored the stamped images with copic markers and added some glossy accents to the boba's in the cups!  I used the MFT Cloud Stencil to add a cloud background with distress oxides.

Thank you for stopping in!

Mama Elephant - Boba Tea

Hi Crafty friends,

Today I have a card to share using the Mama Elephant Boba Tea stamp and die sets!  Boy I do love how cute these little images are!

I made this card to send to my daughter at BMT.  I had everyone come over and we all put a little message in there for her!  She loved it!

I used the distress oxide's above to make a background color that I turned into a shake with the Mama Elephant Slimline Basics Die set.  I then colored all the little images with copics and added them to the front of the card.  Its so super cute!  I sent Priya the pictures below so she can feel a part of the get together.

Here is a pic of me, my mom, and my sister in our backyard.

Here is my family and my sister and her husband.  Good times!

Thank you for stopping in!

Papertrey Ink & Simon Says Stamp - Onesie and Oh Baby Dies

Hey Crafty Friends,

I hope you are having a good day.  My daughter is a photographer and she has several friends/clients who are having babies.  She asked me to make a few baby cards for her to give to them soooooo.... I went to town!  I used a onesie die that I have from PTI forever!  I made two cards. One using the die cut and one using the negative die cut paper.

This first card uses the onesie die cut from PTI.  I also put the Oh Baby die cut from SSS as the sentiment.  I really like the patterned paper  that I chose for these two cards.

I liked it so much I couldn't toss out the die use portion!  I had to use it to make a shaker card!  I mixed sentiment stamps to add the sentiments to these cards.

Thank you for stopping in!

My Favorite Things - Let's Stick Together

Happy Monday Peeps!

Today I am sharing 4 super cute cards that I made using the stamp and dies set from MFT called Let's Stick Together.  I'm still going strong with my quest to make birthday cards and while this set is more like a "couples" type of set, I improvised!

On this first card I used the "stitched dome" - I have to check the actual name of the die cut and  then sponged some clouds on it with Tumbled Glass Oxide ink.  I then attached the little stamped images that I colored with copic markers on the dies cut.  The sentiment is from another MFT stamp set.

Here is the second card that I made using the stamp set.  Again its colored with copics and I attached these directly onto the card front.

This one is so fun to me. I love the little cactus with the sombrero!  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from another MFT stamp set.

This is the last card I made using this stamp set.  I made this adorable shaker card!

I used some Distress oxide inks to make up the background in the  shaker look like a desert sunset.  I then used the same colors to add clouds to the base of the card.  I think it looks amazing!

There is a close up showing some movement.

I used the same copic colors on all of the images.

Thank you for stopping by!

Mother's Day - Lifestyle Crafts

Hey! I have a card that I forgot to share on Mother's Day!  I made this for my mom and I love how it turned out!

It is a shaker card that has balloons in it that say Happy Mother's Day!  <3  Love it!  I die cut all of the balloon letters from a die set from Lifestyle Crafts.  I don't know if this die set is still around but I am so glad that I snatched it up when I could!  I tied all of the balloons with string and taped it to the back panel.  I then used an MFT shaker window and rectangle frame die to make the shaker window - easy peasy!

Here's a picture of me and my mom the day before Mother's Day!  Love her to pieces!

My Favorite Things - Happy Birthday Block Die

Happy Hump Day!

We are half way to the weekend!  Today I have a fun shaker birthday card to share with you.  I used the MFT Happy Birthday Block Die and the BB Birthday Chicks stamps set for this card.  I love how easy it was to create this birthday card with this big die.

I used some patterned paper from my stash to place behind the  die cut and I colored up the little chicks to match.  Very simple and stunning!

C.C. Designs - Mermaids

Hi!

I have finally made a few cards and I'd like to share them with you!  First of all, I'd like to thank my sweet friend Rosemary for locating and and gifting me these adorable stamps!  I saw the images when I was searching for mermaid stamps, I looked and looked all over and I could not find them anywhere.  I saw that Rosemary was on the design team for C.C. Designs stamps so I reached out - and she came through BIG TIME!!!!

I stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah paper.  !colored the images using copic markers.  Here's a pic of me starting to color the cute mermaids!

Here are the completed Mermaids.  I LOVE how they turned out.

I made two shaker cards.  I used dies from My Favorite Things, Avery Elle, and Memory Box.  The sentiments are from Papertrey Ink and My Favorite Things.  I added shimmer with the Nuvo shimmer Pen and the white dots in their hair is from my Sakura pen.

Thanks for stopping by!

Jar - Janes Doodles

Happy Friday!

I have a sweet card to share with you today that uses both a digi image and a clear stamp from Jane's Doodles.  I used Jane's adorable Jar digi to create a shaker card!  The first for me - but it will not be my last.  I am now obsessed with what I can put in this little jar.  LOL.

Here is how I did it - I printed the jar twice, once on Neenah cardstock and once more on SU's cardstock vellum paper.  I cut both out and sewed around the edges, leaving the top of the jar open so I could fill it with goodies.

I put red, orange and gold sequins into the card along with some white chunky glitter.  I then sewed up the top of the card.  I tied some hemp twine around th top and added a button.

I used Studio Calico's Hey Day paper pad and a doily from my stash.  The sentiment is from Jane's Doodles Big Sentiments clear stamp set.

Have a great weekend!
